Was craving for a good shawarma/pita wrap and stumbled upon this little gem. My partner and I are so hungry that we were like let's order everything!! We ended up ordering chicken/beef shawarma and chicken pita pocket, side of yam fries and samosas and side sauces which they were very generous with can you tell we were eye hungry?! we ate it all and it was very delicious and we still had leftover at the end. The best part, both guys who works there who served us were very friendly and so genuine and brought us our order in our table and treated us well from the beginning and till the end. And gave us a free backlava as a thank you. I normally don't do reviews but felt compelled to because the services we've received was amazing for a $30 dinner! Yes a $30 dinner which based on my other experiences with other food joints for the price we didn't expect good service from unless you dine in a $60 and up fancy establishment well for that I would expect better than average service so for what we paid we got so much more and we left telling the guy "I'm going to help you" . I am a fan of shawarmas/middle eastern food in general and have eaten the best ones in Toronto, Vancouver as well as I've eaten at A A jimmy delis here in Calgary before and I appreciate a good shawarma but I would say based on my service from Pita Grill I would come to them hands down to satisfy my cravings compare to Jimmys as find with jimmys they have no time for good genuine customer service and they pack the food for you and send you out the door. Sorry not to bad mouth the other establishment but that just my experience with the other store.
With pita grill we will definitely come back to try their platter the next time we are in the area.

I enjoyed my shawarma from that place, but I find it a bit pricey compare to the other spots in Calgary.
Plates are around 15$ while sandwiches around 11-12$ and you can usually find some for the price of 9$ somewhere else (and even better).
Service was friendly and quite fast! -

Paid 18$ for a small beef donair and fries and fountain drink. Fries undercooked. Donair was ok. Total rip off

I usually like this place but i got myself a platter today and it was not good.
The beef was hard and salty, it didnt taste like a shawarma, it tasted like something i make in the kitchen
I feel like i got ripped off.
